Yes please. This would reduce the need for the iCal/365 for integration

I often have meetings that didn't start right on time, or perhaps a phone call or a spontaneous meeting that is indeed a meeting, but it only appears in my lifelog not in my meting list. I want these to be automatically detected or even better let me go back and define (optimally through AI real language: "Mark that phone call as a meeting between [participants] over the topic of [topic]".

You have my calendar - if I’m recording during a meeting on my calendar automatically map it to that meeting even if I didn’t start it in the web app

All of my meetings are missing the beginning because I forget to start it on the web app.

Not sure if this is a different request, but I just got the pendant and would like a mode where it will send me a notification to my phone when it detects a meeting and starts recording. I would like something where the pendant asks if I want it to record or not. For example, if I am listening to music, or just having a quick chat that does not need to be recorded, then I would like to click on a "no thanks" option on my phone to tell it to ignore this convo and not continue recording and transcribing it. If I do not click on the "no thanks" option, it will just continue to record/transcribe like normal.

I switched over to Krisp for this exact reason and haven't looked back sadly

I have switched over to Fathom, partially for this reason. I'll keep an eye on this and come back when the product is more built out

How is this not part of the product yet. Please add it. It's so frustrating to realize part way through that I forgot to start limitless.

Strengths:

• Seamless UI

• Easy to use

• Reliable (in my experience)

Primary Pain Point:

• Forgetting to enable transcription manually for calls/meetings (I mostly use Slack and Discord).

Desired Features:

• Automatic detection of calls/conversations, regardless of the meeting app.

• Automatic transcription or prompt to enable transcription.

• Auto-detection of active audio devices (important due to frequent device switching).

• API (e.g. python) for custom use-case automation. E.g. controlling when to activate based on contex, context-specific automation of data extraction (can use custom/local LLMs/apis), auto-sharing summaries and metadata, etc.

Context:

• I don't always need transcripts but often wish I had them when I least expect it.
• I want to streamline my daily workflow, which involves a lot of miscellaneous discussions in slack and on calls - wish are sometimes hard to recollect or find (let alone remembering what terms to search for, or what date something occurred)

• I want to be able to automate the use of transcript results (metadata, summaries, etc). E.g. Combine transcript results with other data (like slack chat history, trello, jira, etc) in order develop (for example) insights, custom semantic search functionality, etc.

By the way, competitors are now doing this. Tools like Shadow

I often forget to start the Trasncription

I missed another meeting today because I forgot to press record. I need it to automatically started and end, especially when using tools like Zoom.

It would be great to have Limitless be able to automatically record and transcribe Zoom/Meets/Teams calls. I used Otter.ai for that, but if Limitless can join calls and webinars, I'd be able to stop using Otter. Speaker identification important for that too

Additionally, detect when meeting may be over (no more conversation) and prompt user if they are still in-meeting or would like to stop recording.
