Transcript search features

The ability to search the transcript by speaker name, date/time, location, keyword ...etc would be great for quickly making the transcript useful without having to necessarily go through the AI model.

Similarly, this was one of the first things I wanted to do!

I’d like to see search in not just transcripts but the Ask AI History as well, already found myself knowing I created a prompt or asked ai about a specific topic and tried to reference the information only to have to scroll through so many looking for the specific chat

Seriously, how can we not search transcripts? It's the whole point.

Without search this would be not as useful

Vice-versa: if you could ask the model about something, then have it hot-link citations into the transcript. eg. "What did I say about {x} in the meeting with {A} yesterday?" -> bullet points, each with a [citation] link, like ChatGPT etc. do these days.

Elasticsearch/Opensearch ftw, pls. Totally fine to have to install a fatter Mac app (or iOS app) that runs k8s with local ES if that's what it takes to keep costs reasonable, speed acceptable, and privacy intact.

100% this. Right now I have to copy transcripts and notes to a google docs, so I can search for them.

Gemini in running and coming fast, so to stay ahead I believe search must be a priority.

This is probably the most (and actually only) frustrating thing I find with this amazing product- finding information is super tough - if there was a way to search for words, participants, dates, etc. I also think that we could delete meetings where no transcripts were taken -- it would make the search easier. Thanks for considering.

Search is everything. Why are we recording if we can't go back into the records? Search is what makes the cool Pendant valuable. We need AI search and other more traditional forms of search. Or, a blend between the two.

Like... search.... SEARCH! How are we meant to find anything without a search function? 😅

This is an ESSENTIAL feature. I use Limitless because my memory sucks, I'm not much with thousands of minutes of recording and transcription without a robust search function.

This is almost a must have. I can’t believe it hasn’t happened been added yet

    Search is absolutely essential.

I'd even extend a little further above the already existing suggestions and add some stuff like:

    Search by speaker / speakers

    • Recording contains speakers: Kalani & Jeff
    • Recording does not contain speakers: Mike

    Search by content

    • Recording contains content: "Data Center"
  • J
    Jonathan C

Sometimes I just want to remember that one piece of information but wouldn't know where it came up in what conversation or what specific day. Would be nice to be able to search for something easily!
