Yes...and not a new idea. Almost everyday I tlll Android Auto or Alexa to remind, send a text etc and it does it.

It should have a trigger word or expression, like “Hey Pendant!” And then the agent would look to whatever is being said after this and interpret as a command.

One of the challenges would be the timing of all that, since from my understanding, tha app should be open for “near real time” transcription. And that removes all the practicality. Ideally, I want my phone in my pocket, and then if I say a command it is executed right away.

Adding support to MCP would be a win! This would easily give the agent powers to handle emails, calendar appointments, CRM systems, Task Management apps, etc.

This is the holy grail. This is the iPhone moment for AI assistants. Nothing will ever be the same once this happens.

This idea could mean a lot of things. And AI could help make it happen. Like have a vetted local carpenter call, etc.

It should also be voice interface enabled so that a real time reference of the transcript can be recalled. Like when i say, I need to go get some toilet paper from the pantry and than I walk into the pantry and I foget what im there for and so i just ask limitless, what did i say i was getting again?

Would this work autonomously, like "every time someone tells me their name and number, add them to my contacts"?

The API is already available, while it could be more comprehensive, it's fully capable of supporting custom agents today if you choose to deploy your own.

I don’t even have my Pendant yet (just Rewind at the moment) but already want this. We all know Agents are the future.

I would argue that without this feature, the service won't survive long-term. I think the ability to record but then have actions taken for you is critical.
